Dr. Miranda Thomassen

Dr. Thomassen has been employed with the Gentle Doctor Animal Hospitals since 1998, when she started working in the kennels for Dr. Bashara while still in high school. She earned her BA in Biology from Hastings College (2003) and her DVM from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine (2007). Dr. Thomassen is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Nebraska Academy of Veterinary Medicine. She and her husband Michael (also a veterinarian) have three sons and two daughters,plus an assortment of 4-legged family members (1 dog, 2 cats, 1 horse, and 2 ponies).
